I wrote maybe 200 words and Ijeoma had the rest, as this is a Q&A with an author. There were no "book snippets" included. There is no "hate" here, nor are there any "highlighted book snippets." Did you read this piece? As a person of color, it might be worth reflecting why her interview about American history bothers you in this way. I'll drop again what she said about gaslighting, which is what you are trying to do here instead of having an honest conversation. Per Ijeoma, as noted in the Q&A: "First and foremost, I want this to be a book that helps battle the collective gaslighting regarding White supremacy. It is vital that when things are happening to us that we can put it in context and we can see what’s happened in the past and whether or not what’s happening is a part of a pattern or a bigger problem. It helps us know how to address things..."
